SIZE -- Standard sizes are listed in the grid above.
If a special size is required, use the price of the next
larger standard pad. We will cut down the pad to meet your
size specifications at no extra charge.
IMPRINT AREA -- Please see grid above.
PAPER -- 15 lb. white bond, 50 sheets per pad. If
colored paper stock is desired, please contact our Customer
Service Department for a custom quote.
COPY -- We will typeset your ad copy at no
extra charge.
MINOR COPY CHANGES -- Small copy changes, such as
a name, phone number or branch address for example, can be
made if printed in the same color ink, for $20.00(F) extra
for each change, in multiples of 500 pads only.
MAJOR COPY CHANGES -- Significant copy changes can
be made on combined (co-op) orders for the same size pad for
$25.00(F) extra in multiples of 500 pads only.
LOGOS, PHOTOGRAPHS, ETC. -- There is no extra
charge for reproducing logos, line drawings or other copy
that may be reproduced at the same size. Reproductions of
photographs, screen or phantom images, including engineer's
screened graphs or cross hatches, or most other phantom
prints appearing as a lighter shade of the regular ink color
used, cost $18.00(F) extra. Reductions or enlargements cost
$12.00(F) extra.
INK -- Any one of our standard ink colors, PMS
Reflex Blue, PMS 185 Red, PMS 347 Green and Black, are
available at regular prices. Any one color of ink, not just
our standard colors, is available on quantities of 10,000 or
more pads at no extra cost; 5,000 or more pads for $40.00(F)
extra. Nonstandard ink colors are also available on pads
#805, #806 or #807 at a minimum quantity of 2,000 pads, for
$40.00(F) extra.
TWO INK COLORS -- Any combination of our standard
ink colors (Red, Blue, Black and Green) is available in any
quantity for $30.00(F) extra. Any two colors of ink, not
just our standard colors, are available on quantities of
10,000 or more pads for $30.00(F) extra; 5,000 or more pads
for $60.00(F) extra; and 2,000 or more pads of AP6, AP7 or
AP8 for $80.00(F) extra.
BINDING -- 50 sheets are red gum padded to a
chipboard back along the first given dimension. If you
desire a cover sheet, please contact our Customer Service
Department for a custom quote.
500 PAD MULTIPLES ONLY -- Changes in printing and
actual quantities ordered must be in multiples of 500 pads.
SCORE PADS -- Game scoring pads can be priced from
this list, including gin rummy, bridge, etc.
METHOD OF PRINTING -- Offset lithography.
PROOFS -- If requested, a digital proof is
available for $20.00(F). Any author's alterations made after
the proof has been shown will be billed at our current
hourly rate.
NORMAL PRODUCTION TIME -- 3 to 4 weeks. Scratch
pads are gang run, 15 to 24 orders per gang. Gang runs are
multiple customer jobs that are grouped together for print
runs, categorized by color, quantities, etc. Gang runs allow
us to provide the best possible pricing for our
distributors. For quicker delivery time, select Blue, Red or
Black ink. If a proof is sent, please allow time for return
of proof.
DROP SHIPMENT -- No extra charge for drop shipment
if in multiples of our standard packaging, otherwise add
$7.00(F) per location and $2.00(F) per carton.
SHRINK FILM WRAPPING -- Is available for 15¢(F)
per package; 3, 4 or 5 pads per package. Please specify when
ordering. Add an additional 1¢(F) per pad for quantities
over 5. To insert your furnished pen, pencil or business
card, etc., in shrink wrap packaging, add 8¢(F) per package.
TYPE OF PACKING -- Bulk.
Note: If requested, a magnet can be attached to
the chipboard back of any scratch pad for 20¢(F) extra for
each pad.
